CNseg explains the advantages of insurance in series on YouTube

The program ‘Você + Seguro!’ premieres this Thursday (14/07), on the CNseg channel on YouTube, with the aim of explaining to society the benefits of insurance for individuals. The educational series is a production of the National Confederation of Insurance Companies (CNseg) and will be published once a week for 13 consecutive weeks.

The first episode of ‘Você + Seguro!’ will address a subject that everyone loves: travel. Travel insurance is a companion for those who want to have fun and discover new places without worry, but many do not know how to use it or what its coverage is. In addition to being essential for entry into several countries, insurance is protection for travelers in case of medical emergencies, lost luggage and even trip cancellation.

Following the advance of vaccination in Brazil and the consequent opening of borders with other countries, in the first four months of 2022, the demand for Travel insurance increased 222.2% compared to the same period in 2021, with the volume of premiums collected – that is, , value of insurance sold – of R$ 221.7 million. From January to April of this year, the amount of indemnities reached R$ 83.9 million, guaranteeing payment, reimbursement and provision of services in the event of covered risks related to the trip.

Travel insurance guarantees the insured or his beneficiaries an indemnity, limited to the amount of the insured capital contracted, in the form of payment of the contracted amount, reimbursement or provision of services, in the event of covered risks, provided that they are related to to the trip, during a previously determined period, under the terms established in the contractual conditions.
