OAB – ES debate: “Civil Liability Insurance for Lawyers: when to hire and activate?”

The Insurance Law Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association – Seccional Espírito Santo (OAB-ES),) held, this Thursday (13), a debate on “Civil Liability Insurance for Lawyers: when to hire and apply?”. Participants were able to attend the lectures given by the lawyer specializing in Insurance Law, Edgar do Amaral Souza, and the administrator, specialist in economics and manager of the Civil Liability Products Insurer, Daniel Lamboy. According to the President of the Commission, Gustavo Siciliano Cantisano, the event was a success, with practically 100 registered. “Of the total number of participants, there were not only lawyers and law students, but also brokers and insurance companies. Dr. Edgard Souza (lawyer and broker) and Dr. Daniel Lamboy (insurance) were excellent in conducting the lectures and debates, with clear and objective presentations on the topic. In view of the diversity of professions of the participants and the speakers, it is worth noting that the scope of the Insurance Law Commission has been reached: dialogue and debate on the relevance of Professional Liability Insurance, considering the opinions of lawyers, brokers and insurance companies ”. http://www.oabes.org.br/
